The
Linekin family arrived in this country during the late 1600's and
is one of the oldest families in New England. Among the earliest
settlers of Boothbay Harbor, Maine, our ancestors were seafarers,
farmers, merchants, and serviceman who worked very hard to help
their families and communities to grow and prosper. John Linekin
was a dedicated servicemen under the command of the Great General
Joshua Chamberlain of the 20th Maine. John was with Company K which
defended Little Round top at Gettysburg, PA.
So you can understand our strong sense of pride for a legacy and appreciation for hard work that goes back many generations. It is this tradition that inspires us everyday. Driven by the same work ethics of our forefathers, we are committed to producing the finest kettle corn you can buy. We can't help it. And, we will continue to work hard to bring some enjoyment to your day. We hope you enjoy eating it as much as we enjoy making it for you. Jim Linekin - Founder |
